Question:Hi, I want to mount these facing into (through the sides of) a white/translucent IBC tank (Intermediate Bulk Container) containing coldwater fish. The container sides are around 3-4mm thick, and I can shine the torch on my iPhone 7 Plus through the sides quite easily.
Q1. Where is the receiver/sensor for the remote control? Is it on the front side of the Floodlight where the light is emitted from?
Q2. If I set 2 of these floodlights up for example in smooth transition mode, will they phase through the colours at the exact same rate, or will there be a slight difference in sequence rates?
Q3. If I set them up, again for example in smooth transition mode, and switch them off and on with either a timer or photocell, will they remember the last mode they were set to, or will the need to be re-programmed? I'm assuming the will actually power-on if the mains supply is restored. Maybe they don't?
Q3. Will the 10w RGB Floodlights suffice to create a gentle lighting effect? Or is it likely that I'd need to go any higher on the wattage, bearing in mind that a) I don't want to stress the fish with too much brightness, and b) there is also a real possibility that a thin layer of algae will grow on the insides of the IBC during normal operation.
Apologies for the extensive questions, but I really do need to have at least some idea of what I'm buying into!By TonyWGT on 09/10/2018Answer:Dear TonyWGT,
We appreciate your interest in LE.
Sorry for late reply.
As for your question, the sensor is inside the fixture, and the light color of two lights are not synchronized by one remote control. These lights have memory function and when it is in static monochrome mode, it can adjust the brightness to make it dimmable floodlight.
